I ended up going to the NAPA store, only to have the owner tell me that he's tried Mcguires and the 3M products, and he even showed me another brand of product he carries and that he's tried all 3 (on his Blazer) without any results. His Blazer was parked out front and...yup...nothing had worked. He might as well have had two banana cream pies for headlamp lenses. THey were the worst I've ever seen. He said the only thing was 1000, 1500 and 2000 wet sandpaper with a polish/buff, and even then he couldn't guarantee any good results. Couldn't find any of that fine grade paper at the local hardware store, so I went to my trusty autobody man, who, in a state of Christmas goodwill took 10 minutes and, with my assistance we both sanded the lenses and he finished off buffed up using his pneumatic buffer and some sort of wax. Sorry I didn't take the before and after pics, but apart from the better looks, you can see farther at night. The difference was amazing!
