I have an 07 Expy and the plastic running boards are very hard to clean. It seems the plastic is porous and allows stains to get trapped. Any ideas on how to clean these and how to keep em from soaking up stains? Thanks.

 

Textured plastic -- I use a 4:1 Simple Green solution and a soft nylon bristled brush. Once clean, I'll dress my personal vehicle with Vinylex -- I don't dress customer boards or bars (liability).

go with PR on the clean and I use BlueIce you will have to Google it but it works well and my wife does not slip on it in her truck.
