is it easy to put on the window tint you can buy at the autostore by yourself, and is it good quality tint that isnt going to peel and bubble?

Man I have zero experince with cars but I can tell you I recently bought Tint From Lowes to put on our camper windows....man that chit is tough to work with.

There is a reason why auto tint shops exist...they do a perfect job.

Save up and get it done would be my opinion.

Although I usually think the same (and definately would for my own truck), my buddy did his Regal with the AutoZone Tine, and it looks SHARP. It looks professional and perfect. I guess the secret is that if you are going to DIY, take your time to do the best you can. Otherwise, let the learned do it for you.

But yeah-- on my own (if it didnt already hav tint), I would take it to a shop.

My was 60, but it wasn't Lumar. I think it's Suntek or something like that.

Install should go for somewhere between 50-100 depending on shop and type of tint used. Ceramic is more expensive than metalized.

I install vinyl graphics for a living & can't figure out the art of this stuff!! I can lay out a '53 trailer without a wrinkle or a bubble, but can't for the life of me get 2 feet of this stuff to lay down. After killing $40 worth of material I ended up paying another $100 to get it done right.

Take it to a shop-remember all those cars/trucks you see around town or wherever that is all bubbled and kind of purple/faded, they bought the DIY kits
Take it to a shop and have it done right
Mine cost me about $200 and that included vinyl strip and decal on the windshield

No, the fan is on.

Been a fun day, went to church, then I've been watching football and surfing. Usually I work Sunday nights. Took this one off.
