If you are going to do it. Buy the high quality tint like lumar. And USE A PISSLOAD OF SPRAY!!! You cant get it too wet. Take the door panel off (makes for a cleaner job). And TAKE YOUR TIME!!! If you have any questions pm me.

Vinyl is completely different than window tint. Vinyl is much thicker and easier to smooth out. Tint is alot like painting a car, 90% of the work is in the prep. If you're gonna do it yourself, consider the first 2-3 times as a "trial run", or just cough up some cash and let a pro do it, you usually get a warranty too!
