Heck... I'm just impressed that he's pulled the local drug lord out of hiding to detail his vehicles!

Just kidding of course.... that's a nice array. Better take some pics.

I've been turning down everything every time the phone rings (minus a couple of guys that were trying to get their hot rods detailed -- both of which bailed on me).

It's tough to turn them down but, by the same token, I just can't give the vehicle the time that it needs and thus, I won't do it. I feel bad about it as a few of the turn downs have been past clients but, most seem to understand.

No... not really. I'd really like to be working on a few vehicles but, I just don't think that my time is well spent doing that stuff right now. I'll pick it back up here in a few months/a year. I may have to start from scratch again though...

Yeah I got something to say. I bought some ArmorAll tire foam and it does not produce any gloss! This is an outrage. They only had the ArmorAll standard protector stuff at the grocery store. I guess that will teach me to not one stop shop.

Jeez what a waste of $6

Some ArmorAll products should banned. Just too many other better products out there.

HELP???!!! Thanks, Bud.
The Lexus is a guy I work with .. The multi-car is a guy that knows me from another board .. the Lexus was a nice car .. a Silver 2006 GS300. really nice condition, so all I had to do was make it shiny..

it takes a long time to pick up clients. I get them from word of mouth, work, my neighbors, or off the couple of forums I frequent. I alsoget referrals from other detailers in Houston, if they someone on my side of town needing a car done, and they don't feel like driving all the way up here. I do the same for them if I hear of someone on the south side.

I used to get a lot from car shows, but since I sold my toys, I don't get to shows much anymore.

My weekend detail plans for this weekend will be limited to washing my truck I think. Maybe throw some wax on it. I'm going to try to hit up my aunt's 2006 DSG Expy cause there's a few sap spots on it that are driving me NUTS. Next weekend is when the real detailing begins... After I drive 2000 more miles.

Hmmm...I just picked up a free detail to do...Me and my Dad went to the Ranch today, and now his truck is in SERIOUS need of a LOT of work...I think since he is going to be busy for the next few days, I am going to steal his truck, and detail it. A lot of pics will be taken if I do, as it will nearly be a restoration... This may be good for advertising...

we will see... But thanks Gip for the response. I may just have to go talk to few local detailers... and get myself soem patience...
