What types of pads do you use? My car is not scratched up but does have its fair share of spiderwebs. Taking that into consideration I would need to use some sort of mild abrasive polish to level it out. I see they sell the foam cutting pads but I have seen where some say a cutting pad should not be used on Clear Coat finishes??

Yellow for cutting and black diamond sealer.
I did again later using ALL Poorboys and all Lake pads.
For really deep markings, I use a Red Megs Cut pad...they are safe for clear coats, what you are prob reading is wool cut pads. To use wool you need a high speed and a set of brass balz.
So if I got one or two each of the yellow, white, and red pads here I should be good to go right. Or is there another place you recomend buying from.

Most people that I know who are also OCD use the Lake pads...here is a place that has a VERY good description of how they work and the colors etc.

Once again thanks. How do you get these products onto the engine. I dont think that you actually wipe it on with a rag or micro fiber cloth on their do you. Im guessing that you use a pressure washer with one of the bottles? Im just wondering. I like what you have done with the Pacifica and I would like to keep my engine looking new.

I also bought this to experiment with...a pressure pump sprayer. Not the best for engine (you will hyperdressing everwhere) but its good for wheel wells and undercarriage

PS, to avoid the "oil slick" look on your driveway, I do the undercarriage at a local car wash at night when there is no traffic there or when its dry.
then come home and QD the sling and overspray from using the pumper.

.ok let me see if I got this right.
1st Pour The all purpose solution into a spray bottle
2nd spray the engine with it. Let it dry or use the engine for drying
? here. If I let it dry on its own without the engine, how long. and can I spray everything or is there some things I should stay away from.
Apply the hyperdressing to the engine using a spray bottle and let it dry on its own or use the engine. Is this correct.
? also how do I remove bugs from the radiator?
THanks

Use the Megs APC+ in a spray bottle, let it sit and work for a few min but not dry, wash off with hose, no pressure.
Spray Hpyerdresing the same way but let it dry.
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I will be looking into doing this project in a week or so. Once I'm done i will up load some pics. Also I'm going to purchase a PC. Is there anything that you recommend that I get with it. I appreciate your help you have truly helped me so far.
