New type of claybar...

New innovative rubber polymer product redefines the use of clay bars. Link is to AutoDetailing Solution.

Has anyone tried this yet?

i have not used it....and do not plan on using it. I would rather stick with clay. For one thing, with clay the particle and dust gets pushed up into the clay so that it isnt rubbing the paint. With the sponge, you are dragging the particles between the sponge and the paint which is likely to produce swirls and scratching. I would rather stick with what i know works.

Sounds great if works like original clay. Helluva lot more convenient that's for sure.

I haven't tried it but I have seen mixed reviews... some seem to kind of like it and others seem to kind of not like it.

I see pros and cons and am going to sit on the sidelines for a while to come to see how they hold up and, further, how they 'shed' what they're picking up.

This isn't the first of it's kind... there was another company - and for the life of me, I can't find the information about it - that made a very very similar product about 2 or 3 years ago. It came and went like it never existed... When it debuted, the opinions were also mixed. *shrugs*
