Damn.

I just ordered some 303. I hope it's not totally worthless. I had to have it shipped in here in Washington. Nobody sells it in state, as near as I could tell....

Well I have some vinylex I was going to try next. But I'll have to assume the V-X would do the same thing. I dunno though. Vinylex is a lot thicker consistency and has a very different smell altogether--nothing like 303.

One thing I notice after I did the rinse test on the shutter, it felt real slick, like it had wax on it. Yet, the water would not bead. The shutter felt like sand paper prior to using the 303. I tried to simulate everything with the shutter as though it was automotive vinyl. I cleaned it very well with NXT car soap and a stiff bristle scrub brush, hung to dry, then applied the 303.

I think the jury is still out. At least I'm waiting on the mirror test results, before I crap can it. However, I wouldn't think it should matter what type of vinyl it was applied on. When reading the bottle it states, it works on everything. And ya gotta admit, it looked good up until it got wet.

Vinylex, #40, 303, Z-16.... the list goes on and on. If they get a few days to 'bake' in, they'll do better but, they'll still flush readily.

I will admit that I'm blown away by the test that rusty demonstrated though. I thought it would've held up better than what it did.

In Washington it's sold everywhere. GI Joe's, boat shops, etc.

Darn it. I looked on there website, and it didn't show any dealers in Washington... So I guess I just made a dumb assumption. I never looked at "Joes" (Sidebar, did you see G.I. Joes they changed their name... Disappointing) Guess I should have looked harder.
