Most insane detail ever!!!!

Just kidding, I just started my first detail in way too long...

Today,
Wash(gold class soap)
Clay(mother's detailing clay, not particularly satisfied) first time ever!!!
DC #1
DC #2
NXT paste
Windows(in and out)

I aslo have a couple of questions, is such a thing as too much lubricant for the clay, would the meguiars different clay compounds yield better results, I have a couple of dried-on sap spots that I just can't get rid of. Also, just got a set of Depo clear fogs, what's the best way to keep headlights clear? Also, does anyone have any hints on how to keep that grey trim around the back window nice, it's starting to fade on me.

Here's the pics,

hey look, it's me

clean wheel wells look better than black wheel wells RockPick...(yes, I forgot the plastic...)

Tomorrow,
Wheels
Ext. Plastic
Int. Plastic
Carpet
Leather

(I typed this with my toes because my arm is about to fall off...)

Can you guys read, or is it prettty pictures only?

I finished today and here's some more pics,
it's clean now...

Not a huge fan of tire shine, but the tires have been cleaned.

I know you guys were just pulling my leg, but this is the most intensive detail I have ever done to paint, I was already good about washing and waxing before, but now I have much better procedures(I think...), thanks for all the help guys. If it's not too much trouble could someone please answer my questions from my original post.

Yes. There is such a thing as too much lubricant however; in 99% of cases, you will probably not use too much. The only time that I personally think that this would be a problem is if you are claying a vehicle that BARELY needs claying.

Also, just got a set of Depo clear fogs, what's the best way to keep headlights clear?
Meguiar's Plastx or Plexus. Honestly, Plexus is probably the better of the two options for MAINTAINING plastic.

http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/plexus.html

Plexus is more of a protectant for plastic than it is a polish.

Also, does anyone have any hints on how to keep that grey trim around the back window nice, it's starting to fade on me.
303 Protectant or Vinylex.

Thanks for the tips though

No problemo. I suspected sarcasm but, at the same time, I suspected a very direct and pointed 'poke' at those of us who had originally commented.

No harm... no foul..

Let us know if you have additional questions!
