Arrow powerball or flitz

Ok... what do you guys think about these products and which would be better for me?? I am trying to get the life back out of my OEM wheels and clean up the bug shield that has faded out a lil bit.... also want to make the chrome bumpers shine really well. Also, will an 18V cordless drill work well with these, or is it better to go out and buy a cheap corded model?? Thanks...

I don't own a powerball, but I've done a lot of reading of reviews on powerballs as well. In my opinion the Flitz is more of an industrial, heavy duty, type ball compared to the Mothers Power Ball. However, the Mothers has one thing going for it that the Flitz doesn't. The Mothers PB now comes with an extension rod thus keeping the spinnng drill head further away from your polishing surface. Given that option, I think I'd go with the Mothers PB. Just doing rims, I don't see much of an advantage in either. Now if you were going to be using it on diamond plating, then I'd absolutly go with the Flitz ball.

Corded drill..... Others have stated their battery doest last long enough. Personally? For a scant few dollars more, I'd go with a half inch drill--more power.

you've got some good points.... thanks man... I'm probably going to be doing some cleaning of the truck for this weekend and I'm probably going to get the PB.... I'll prolly go and pick up a corded drill... or go to my dad's and raid his tool shop... anyway, thanks again...
