Moldy molding

Hello, I'm trying to keep the 04 screw looking sharp. I discovered the black molding around the windows having a rough texture. I usually put armor all on it to make it shine. It still shines, but the rough stuff wont come off. I cleaned it with purple stuff and a rag, nothing. What else can I do? Have anyone else had the same problems?

Tough call, sight unseen.

Texture? Are you sure it's something that hasn't been on there all along (ie: from manufacturing) that you are just noticing?

Can you fleck any of the 'texture' off with your fingernail?

Also, I wouldn't go too ape-stuff cleaning it with powerful degreasers... Let's take three steps back and think about punting the ball before we jump up to anything above the 'Purple Stuff' option.... just a FYI to keep from ruining that rubber/plastic molding...

I flicked it

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did flick it off. Actually I scraped it off with my finger nail as you stated. It will be a real chore to do the rest though. I was thinking about using a greeny pad, but as stated before, it might be too harsh. Also purple stuff is kinda harsh as well. I really dont want to damage the molding and would like to see it shine again. With the armor all on it, you see the spots even more. I havent applied armor all yet, well, only to one little spot. I was thinking about a chlorox solution or something.
