Bird poop - Acid rain etching.

Bird poop - Acid rain etching:

Any recommends for a paint cleaner to take care of this problem? I've been reading about this Meguiar's product (below) and I am familiar with using a power rotary buffer. I'm just not sure what type pads/wheel to use for clearing up clear coat etching. This Megs seems to be the right choice, but I'm not really sure. Thoughts?

I'm not apposed to using a professional in this case either.

Heavy-Cut Cleaner removes deep swirls, scratches, severe oxidation, alkaline and acid rain etching. Diminishing Abrasives™ cut quickly, then reduce to a polishing rouge, while Buffered Abrasive™ action lubricates the finish to prevent scratching.

Here's an EXCELLENT write-up on spot removal. Use this procedure for both bird bomb and general water etching as they'll be nearly the same type of defect.

No problem... I'll be up your way late this month or early next to do some work over in South Bend -- I'll be swinging by Politos there in Mishawaka (across the street from Lowes).

Good to hear RockPick. I love Polito's. Arguably, the best pizza you will find in Mishawaka. That's saying something too, given all the pizza eateries here.
