Waterspots under NXT

Well I am figuring that I have screwed up.After waiting for the NXT to setup I decided to put on the wax.In various spots I can see water spots that now will not come out.So what to do next?I figure that I would have to start all over again.Any suggestions! This was my second time putting on a synwax and have not yet tried any products that get all the old waxes etc off.Thanks.

I would suggest a claybar, a coat of cleaner wax, and two coats of NXT.

I know RockPick will have some really good advice on this topic, but I am positive that the claybar will remove the waterspots, and remove all of the wax! You dont have to do the cleaner wax, i just think that it really brings out the shine. Hope this helps.

Do the spots feel like they're above or below the paint?

How spaced are they? Bad or just a 'here and there' spot?

Hey Rockpick the spots are definitely above the paint.I think it was from my lousy wipe down after washing. It is not everywhere,I found them on the roof and on the hood mostly.

No need for me to reinvent the wheel here...

Here's a very nice article written by Mr. Mike Phillips with Meguiar's. Enjoy.

Scratch-X is a very readily available product. You should be able to find it at just about any Auto Parts place -- even Wally-Hell.
