Question Textured Moldings TO PAINT OR NOT TO PAINT

well i have tried mineral spirits with a tooth brush and every black reconditioner. So this leaves me with theQuestion can i paint my moldings with black primmer/black canned spray paint

Find a local paint/auto body shop and ask them about the special adhesion promoters and possibly flex additive as well.

Or try Krylon Fusion spray paint. I dunno how this'll work out on your year, but I've heard that for the '97-03 styled plastics, KRYLON Fusion spray paint (3 coats) then some sort of clear coat (for protection)--3 coats, will do the trick.

Have you tried he BONDO Restore Black? It's at Wally world for $10, and it works wonders. I've used it, with incredible results. You just have to use it right.

yeah probably could, but if your talking about your gate handle & bumper top pad they look great to me, why would you paint it?
