Well the South of the Border (SOB)
5 step plan callls for the use of a special wheel cleaner. It was formulated especially for that purpose among other things. It comes in a powder form and you have to mix it with water. It is citrus based so it is enviromental friendly. You might have heard of it since followers of the SOB plan get it from their employer, it's called Margaritta Mix. And to keep the tires nice and shiny it is recommended that the grease that runs into the grease cup on the overhead vent hoods be used. This has a nice black consistent and won't wash off in heavy rains. It too comes from their employer.
