Black!

I searched and didnt really find what i needed. Durring the day my truck looks great and the paint is smooth to the touch but at night under lights i see little light swirl marks. It really brings down the look at night. What are my options to get rid of them. Would the 3 step process I keep reading about take care of them or what about this nano wax I have been seeing a lot of it says it conceals light swirl marks. What is my best bet to get rid of them I wash and wax often.

Here are 2 different options for removing swirls.

By machine.

and by hand

I just keep my truck well-waxed, this seems to hide the swirls.

But when the wax wears-off, the swirls are back.
So you gotta keep after it if you go this route.

Fortunately, I can keep her waxed pretty much all the time, and she's always garaged.

My truck is black as well, a 97 with 130K miles so she's pretty old.

Polishing the swirls away gets rid of them entirely. But I'm not too sure my clearcoat is all that robust, so I don't want to take polish to her unless I really have to. So I do the clay (once or twice per year) and lots o' wax. I use Zaino products, but there are plenty of good products out there that will work well.

Wax fills the swirls and can make them dissappear. I've got tons of swirls, my truck looks like cr@p with no wax. But waxed, you can't see the swirls at all. Not in the day or night, or under bright lights. But it is a lot of work, thankfully she's not my daily driver.

looking at some other pages I am going to wash, clay, deep clean, polish, wax, tech wax and see how that works hopefully with all that work it will be perfect again, its so not noticable right now my girlfriend thinks I am crazy but when I get out of my truck and night in certain light I can see it and it bugs the hell out of me. I will do each panel over a week or so though because I dont have a full day to just work on my truck just like a hour or two a day.
