Microfiber towels and carnauba wax.

I read on another website not to use microfiber towels to buff out carnauba wax because it strips the wax off. I seem to get good results using microfiber towels with carnauba wax. Any opinions?

In my opinion I'd say "Don't believe everything you read on the net"

Ehh... if you want to look at it from this angle -- my opinion would be that using ANY abrasive technique to remove a product will, in turn, remove some of the film build that you're trying to put on the paint.

I will, however, wait for someone to reply to how to remove a product from a painted surface without the use of an abrasive technique... Honestly, the comment that you mentioned is ludicrous.

When i read that comment, it sounded odd. I use microfiber towels from the recommendations of people here and get good results. Not being an expert, i wanted to get other forum members thoughts.

If anything, MF is better. It is simply more fibers in the same space. Ie: The difference in sandpaper and glass. Same stuff, just some is a whole lot nicer to rub against.

Basically what I'm tryin' 2 say is that MF is nicer than silk. Terry cloth and T-Shirts are MORE abrasive.

It's just physics.

The microfiber cloth is a good final buffer, and in Nanowax use, a wax remover. No issues here other than it sticks bad to dry skin. It is forever getting caught on dry finger cracks. I guess I should moisturize, but nope, that is kinda homo for a guy. Final thaught, they are good and I recommend, leaves no haze.

I'm with you. (I'll just assume that what you say about nanowax is true, as I never have used it.) The rest...yep
