graphic/ decal removal. Help pls :)

My truck had these graphics on it when I bought it about 2 months ago.
I've been wanting to take them off but haven't really had the time.
I was told that a blow dryer and some 3M solvent will do the trick nicely..
But my concern is (especially after reading the post about the guy who removed his 4x4 stickers)
Will there be any visible deffects left over?
I mean these are pretty big graphics and I have no idea how long they've been on there for.
Or is it even worth it to remove them.
I myself think they're pretty ugly.. but i think messed up paint would look worse.

I'm guy who removed his 4x4 stickers after nearly two years. It really doesn't look bad, just a couple spots that no one else probably even notices. It just bothers me because I know they're there. I got the 3M solvent this morning so I'll post back after I try it out.

Hard call and you certainly have a valid reservation about removal...

Odds are, unless you're in a VERY harsh environment, being that it's a 04', you shouldn't really have any 'shadow' effect left behind... again though, no guarantees.

As for removal -- Plastic razor blades, 3M Adhesive Remover, and a heat gun. Use the heat gun to get everything 'gooey'. Peel it back. Use the plastic blades to help it along (very carefully), use the 3M AR to remove the remaining goo.

G'luck.

Just got done with the 3M on mine and it worked great. Remember, this was the stubborn stuff that WD40 wouldn't touch. It literally came off in seconds and I followed it with clay and a coat of NXT. Looks like new now! Also, I've had two summers with the BRUTAL Az sun and there is no shadowing on mine.

Sweet! The glue, I wasn't too concerned about. I was just hoping it wouldn't be faded.. or actually I guess it would be darker underneath and the rest of the truck would be faded.
