Water Blades?
I've tried the California Water Blade, and had mixed results. It did dry quite well, but if you hit a dry spot with it, it'd hang up and make all kinds of scary noises on paint. I've since learned the power of a lot of good microfiber towels and retired the Water Blade.
I use the Cal Water Blade, works nice. I use it to remove most of the water but also have a towel in the other hand. It saves on wringing out the terri's!
Only use it on a washed surface or you will drag anything in its way.

Cool. Thanks for the responses. I figure if I got one, I'd let the weight of the blade do the work for me... I understand that I'd still have to use a good microfiber for the finish up... Im just looking for somthing to shed the bulk of the water.

I think mine is the California one.

I have the California Water Blade as well and it is a definite time saver. It gets rid of the bigger share of the standing water leaving you to touch up with a towel. I love it!
It you use this blade, or any blade, make sure the paint surface is perfectly clean. In addition, make sure there is plenty of water on the paint.
Personally, I don't like them, except for windows. I believe WW towels are safer when used properly.

I haven't had any problems with the Ca Water Blade yet, but I'm thinking about switching to this one:

I like the thought of a foam blade on it.

IMO dragging anything across your paint is not worth it. You might get away with that on a non black or dark blue car, but eventually it will catch up to you.
Personally I only use a cotton terry towel and an electric leaf blower. I have one of the Shop Vacs that has the detachable blower. Works awesome and gets rid of a lot of the anoying water behind mirrors, emblems, etc. Using Zaino twice a year and the blower, it only takes two DF Towels to completely dry my wifes Navigator. And I am picky.
