first should u use these to put on a paste wax and 2nd how do u clean them

I haven't used them for paste wax but for liquid wax. The applicator works well for that. I just throw them in the washer with towels I use for car cleaning. I have one that is coming apart at the seam and a little bit disappointed with that but otherwise I like to use them. I am interested if anyone else has used these with paste wax.

I've used them with both paste and liquid and they're currently my favorite applicators. Like Kevin, I wash them with my microfibers.

Kevin -- contact Meguiar's about what's happend with the applicator; maybe they'll take care of you on them. That shouldn't happen but, by the same token, they're not meant to last forever either so, if they have some wear...

I also like these applicators. However, they are a touch more aggressive than foam applicators. Therefore, I tend to use them with products that have some light cleaning/polishing ability... like NXT or FX Synwax. To apply any products that I want to "layer", I still prefer the Meguiar's foam apps.

I hand wash all my applicators in DAWN, or Liquid Tide with hot water, and allow them to air dry.
