Freakin Neighbors.

As if bad stupid neighbors are not enough I get up this morning to find their house burnt to the ground and ashes all over every vehicle I have outside.

My truck looks like it has been around a grinder with sparks. It has little burn marks on the bed cover.... Not into the paint just discoloration.

I have washed the ash off and so far the discoloration is still on and I guess I will try some clay and cleaners tomorrow and see what happens.

The reason the freaks house burnt.............they had "meth" cooking and it blowed up....stupid stupid stupid

Sorry to hear that man. Some people never learn. I know how people are around here because I'm not to far from your location. I'd say this area has the worst class of people around. The majority are nothing but POS trashy dope heads and drunks who draw a crazy check every month. I hate that I have to live on the same planet with these frikkin' morons.

I'd try some clay and Meguiar's cleaner wax for a start.

I would contact the police to get their homeowners insurance information and file a claim with them. Get a nice shiny new paint job out of it.

Doubt meth labs carry current insurance, but I sure hope so in this case. That just plain sucks, it kills me how people with nice stuff have to put up with these jagoffs. Hope everything works out. Least you have no neighbors on that side anymore.

so are your neighbors part of the ashes on your truck? there would be some satisfaction in that.

They got out of the house just after it was on fire from what I heard.

The house was not right beside me it was on a secondary road around from my house.

Oh yea...they had a 2 year child but it was gone to its grand mothers. How nice of them to cook up meth with a child.

It was a rental house, and I honestly do not think they would have had insurance. Plus they are not people I want to deal with.

I would not have my truck repainted from the damage on it. I think the marks may rub off. I guess the wind carried the hot coals and they just happened to land on my truck. My other F150 and lincoln show no visable signs of damage. I wonder if I had so much wax on my truck it just marred the wax.

I ask a few of my other neighbors if they noticed any on their cars and they said no. I guess the dirt on their cars saved them.

I will snag a few pics in the morning before I start.

04RL, If it was a rental unit hopefully the owner of the home does have some sort of homeowners insurance, I'd check into that.

I hope the marks can be buffed out. Good luck.

Get a police report and contact there insurence company just in case there is damage. My brother in law had this happen 2 yrs ago and his house smelt like smoke for weeks. Had to have a cleaning crew come in and clean the whole house.
I live in an upper middle class neighberhood and some times I wish I had crackheads next door(just kidding). Everyone walks around like they are the mayer.

Crack heads are great neighbors, they are easy to steal from and if they are cookin' and selling they usually have a ton of cash lying around. It's like your own personal ATM.

Anywho, I hope all turns out well for your paint!

Here is a picture. (excuse the waterspots in the hood crack)

Notice the 2 spots on the fender. It was not ash, but I did get all the spots off with some clay followed by #9. I am not sure if I could have used something better to do the job with, but like I said the spots are gone now.

Around here it does not matter where you live, drugs are a huge problem.
Its every race, every age, every social status.

I have a few of the mayor types too. I usually give them a smoke show then wave at them.
