Well... when you QD, you're going to be 'touching' the paint with your MF towel... thus, why not QD as you dry?

And, yes. The leaf blower trick works but, you will, inherently, still need to blot several areas dry as it's difficult to make 250 mph air do 'exactly' what you want it to do. You'll dramatically cut down on your dry time and 'drip' time as well...

You're right about the 250MPH leaf blower wind Rock. Nobody better be standing downwind of that thing or they will be the one getting a bath.

It really works well for getting the (slow drip) water out from behind the emblems, nooks and crannies. And obviously will leave no water spots.

I go around it a couple of times blowing off the big water then get after it up close.

I hate when the water collets behind the door mirrors. The leaf blower "blows" it right outta there.

Use the QD as you are drying the vehicle. After you have washed your vehicle, do a slow flood rinse to minimize the standing water. Then, mist on a little QD, and blot and dry the area with your WW towels. Move the towels SLOWLY to dry. Give them a chance to absorb the moisture.

Using the QD during the drying process will add some lubrication and additional light cleaning ability.

I guess I'll need to start buying QD by the gallon somewhere. With two F150's to wash every weekend, I'll go through those little spray bottles quickly.
I am guilty of this as well. Being ****, I rinse/sheet with filtered water, then mist PB's S&W as I dry with a WW.

My wife freaks, because I use filtered water to rinse the truck, but drink water right out of the tap...

Same here. LOL! My wife still thinks that I've totally lost it but, when she sees the results on the truck, she typically retracts her constant 'jabs'. LOL!

I'm a HUGE fan of PB's S&W (Boss is actually who got me addicted to it) but, I still will use Final Detail on occasion...
