Clay shouldnt be this hard to find locally

Dang I've been to Target, the dreaded Wal-mart and even the auto parts stores like Pep boys...most look at me like I'm crazy when I ask for clay bars. I hate to order this off the net. I want to do my truck this weekend.

Argghh!!

Do you have AutoZone there? They carry 2 or 3 brands of clay here. You know if you buy it you will have to use it don't you?

That's crazy.. I usually trip over the mounds of clay bars at the local auto shops. Can't say I've ever looked at Tarjai' or Wally World.

Maybe it has something to do with the "zoning laws" in your area!

Seriously, the auto parts stores (like Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Advanced Auto, Etc.) all have them around here. You'll probably have to find them yourself. Most of them come in a boxed kit.

The only local place I've been able to find them is at a professional detail supply store. About $25 each

I do not think that Wal-Mart or Target carries a clay bar product, well I know they do not in my area. I know that the Super K-Mart up the road had the Meguiars Quick Clay system which I bought dirt cheap when they had them on sale. I have no idea if they still carry it or not, worth a look though.

Best place to go is AutoZone, they have several variations. The Pep Boys up the road from me has Mothers but I don't think I've seen any in Advanced.

By the way, Mothers - Meguiars - Quick Clay, each is just as good as the other.
