Windshield care??
Windshield care??
I have the standard sand specked windshield that probably many of you have and want to know what to do about it.
Yes I drive a little faster on the freeway than many in my 2003 F150 crew, but I don’t think it is too fast. But 36,000 miles is showing the age.
I know the trick of using cola to wash the road oil off the windshield before I wash my truck. I spray Windex on the bugs when I stop at a rest area and let it soak while I run so I can clean them off better when I get back.
I am taller with short legs so I am in the window tint and looking over the rearview mirror when I look out the windshield. Maybe that makes the glass quality and the pitting more of an issue.
Any idea what product would improve the clarity of the glass and minimize the distortion from the pitting?
Thanks
Jeff
