I use liquid soap to wash mine. Make sure it doesn't have bleach or anything harsh in it.

I tumble dry on low heat. The dryer here on low just makes it warm inside. If you think yours gets too hot, then tumble dry on no heat for awhile and then hang dry.

I use dish soap on mine. Just make sure you rinse the soap out very thoroughly. I have never thought about putting them in the dryer, but it sounds like a good idea. I just drape them over the back of a wooden chair and turn the cieling fan on. Same with applicator pads. Wash with dish soap, then lay them on a table to dry.

I use liquid Tide. I fill the cap about ¼ full and wash in the washer with water ½ filling the inside drum. That gives you an idea of soap to water ratio.

I do NOT dry them in a dryer but rather lay them out on a chair or something to dry on their own. If you do dry them in a dryer do NOT use any of those static and/or fabric softener sheets in the dryer with it. That is BAD, not only for Microfiber but any other towels you might use for drying and/or detailing…

I had some that got washed and dried along with some bath towels. Ended up turning them into shop rags due to all the sawdust and lint trapped in them. They were pretty much ruined for detailing use.

to Harley's suggestion above... detergent works great....toss towels alone in dryer afterwards at perm/press setting for 10 min and then hang to fully air-dry.

I was always told to wash them by themselves. I've put mine in the dryer without any problems. My drying towels I air dry and can really tell a difference when I dry my truck. They soak up more water.

A little trick I was given by Adam of Adam's POlishes, is to wash them, but don't use fabric softener. And if they start to get clogged with crap and so forth, soak them in boiling hot water.

yes NEVER use fabric softener. i think most good quality MF towels even say not to use fabric softener on the tags. clogs up the fibers
