Built54,

I gotta tell you, that's an awesome looking truck! Looks good even when it's dirty. lol
What kind of wax/polish do you use? How many miles do you have on it?

Thanks! I use Meguires Gold Class. Well sadly to say, it has 112,000 on it, but it runs, drives, and sounds like its new!

I usually just tape it off .. once you get used to doing it, a complete tape off can be done in about 5 - 10 minutes ..

this tape job took less than 10 minutes.

I also have an old plastic straight edge (like one used for body filler) that I taped a little piece of MF towel over the edge, and use it as a straight edge, like RP mentioned with the cardboard.

If you want to remove old wax from plastic trim, use this http://www.autogeek.net/wax-remover.html
Mr Clean Magic Eraser also works
