NXT Tech Wax consistency?

i bought a bottle of NXT Tech Wax last summer. got it out yesterday to do some much needed waxing, and it seemed to come out onto the wax pad decently thick, but when i started applying it, it was soaked thru the pad within a couple minutes (i wasnt using much). i also noticed that it kinda looked like water was on the wax while i was applying it, and no matter what it seemed to barely cover. does the wax go bad after so many months? do i just need to buy another bottle, or is this the way it is supposed to be?

Hopefully you shook it up real good first, right? Like any other liquid wax they seperate over time. Shake shake shake!

Hmmm... not sure what to tell you honestly... Doesn't 'sound' right t to me but, who knows.

I'd suggest giving Meg's customer service a call and explaining to them what's going on. 1.800.357.5700 ... I have a hunch that they'll ship you out a new bottle.

Mass manufacturing will, no matter how strict the quality standards are in the facility, yeild a dud every now and then...\

Could the bottle of NXT been frozen and thawed? I left some stuff in my truck last winter and it froze, it was garbage, it all seperated, even with shaking the living snot out of the bottle. Cost of my lesson--$75

The first bottle of NXT I bought was seperated. I purchased it at wally world. I took it back and they removed all of it from the shelves. I went to autozone and picked up a fresh bottle. Last bottle I purchased from Wally World and it was fresh. I suppose they shipped it all back or tossed it and ordered more. Until these forums and RP I had no idea what a high quality wax it is. I don't think others in this area know about it either.

Sometimes I forget to shake it up. Then When I go to pour it on the pad, some clear liquid comes out just before the wax. Just shake it up real good and you should be fine. I have a bottle that is still half full. I'd say it's about 9 or 10 months old. It still does the job and does it well.
