Nanowax

Has anyonw tried the EagleOne NanoWax??

I have used it the last two times I waxed my truck by hand. I am a die hard Meguires user but I got a free bottle of the NanoWax. I am really impressed with it. It is easy to apply and remove. Plus it seems to last a long time. The thing I hate worst about cheap wax is it seems that rain will remove it. I Nano'd on warm weekend and it turned cold and rainy/slushy the next. Needles to say I had to run through an automatic to get some of the salt off a couple of times. The wax still beaded the water really well after this last wash. Anyway, it was nice and I just waxed my rig again and like the stuff. I thought I would just give it .

ROCKPIC,

What do I use (and where to get) to clean the black plastic? Will it make it look new or shinny. I am having heck with the plastic on this truck. Thanks for the help. OH, and HELLA good job on that last wax job you did. I don't have my digital today but mine looks freakin good considering how little time I spent on it.

= NANOwax (it seemed appropriate)

I find if mocked most people learn better and actually begin to use the search so they are not exposed to a thread flambe' again. Every forum I watch has the same issue, with the same flames... unreal how many folks don't even think to search. Even my users at work call me "I can't find a file". "did you search?"... "*drool* how do I do that?" "Click on start, then SEARCH and follow the wizard.. SERIOUSLY how did you even get a job?! Like I'm supposed to magically know where you stashed a file".

It's a pet peeve... just like cross-posting and posting in the wrong forum.

Yeah its a good form of entertainment. After a while you see a lot of repeat posting. Not much new stuff out there I guess.
Oh well, flame on.

When you say 'clean', are you trying to remove wax or just get them looking good? Do you want shiny or natural look?

Maybe I shouldn't drink so much while I'm at work

RockpicK,

1. I need something to clean the wax off with and to restore the hazey look it gets after a while (I should have gotten a bigger garage!)..

2. I would like what you use for both applications shinny, and clean black. I like the bed rail shinny but I like the mirrors, valance, and mud gaurds just clean and black with out the haze.

I have broad shoulders so bring it on. Thanks everyone for your help.

Meguiars #39 Heavy Duty vinyl and rubber cleaner
Followed by
Meguiars #40 vinyl and rubber cleaner and conditioner

(I find that the #40 does not clean too well, but is a good protectant)

tsc's recommendation would probably be along the lines of what I'd say...

I'm very hesitant to recommend much on that plastic as it is, apparently, coated and it's really easy to burn through the coating on the plastic...
