I have a scratch on the area between my front and back passenger windows that I can not get rid of. I have tried three or four application of Scratch X and three attempts with my PC and #83 and it is a little better but still very visable. Can anyone offer up some advice for this problem. Just for the record I did follow the directions on the scratch X to the letter and for the #83 I used the pc until it was almost dry. Any other advice would be helpful. Here is the pest:




And yes those are the same swirl mark at the top of the first picture I can not get rid of either!

 

I'd be ULTRA-CAREFUL there. I suspect that the clearcoat on those pices may not be all that thick in the first place...

I don't know what else to tell you other than some scratches can't be removed. This might be one of those beasts...

Well I'm not going any further due to not wanting to go through the clear coat. I do like that flat black panels that are on the 2005 Rousch F150. I may even check into replacing the ones I have for the flat black ones, or just live and let live.
