Well... that link makes it sound like you're supposed to use laquer-based paint.

minus_13, you are correct, I re-read the instructions that came with the kit, and it said not to use it on lacquer painted surfaces, which along with the information on their website, I think that it means if your vehicle is lacquer based paint not to use it. But if the touch-up paint is lacquer based, then it is ok. Also it mentioned if you use paint mixed by a body shop for you to use as touch up paint, to allow it to dry for a longer period of time.

I found that you need to use very little force as it is very easy to pull the paint out of the chip completely. The blob remover disolves the lacquer based paint very easy. But if the paint was put on last summer, it will take some work to remove that blob.

 

Rockpick, and others who wet sands their vehicles, Dwayne at PAC just announced a new wet sanding solution, which is suppose to be better then water.
