Detail....rain

Can anyone tell me why it that the very next day after you spend 5 hours washing, waxing, detailing your new truck that it rains, snows, and storms?? Had to vent a little, am sitting here bawling my eyes out cuz its raining outside and i didnt even get to show off my NXT wax job... If anyone can explain why this always happens, please do so........

After starting off as a meteorology major in college and having almost 3-years of 'in-course' work towards that degree (before switching over to geology), I can't tell you why it happens.

It's one of those things...

Sorry man!

If it makes you feel any better, I drive about 20 miles to detail my truck (they have vehicle bays, I have no garage). Everytime (except once). It rained or snowed and once I was 1/2 mile behind a dump truck, which was loosing it's load ont o the road.

mind you, I get my satisfaction by cleaning/polishing the truck. Cheap therapy.

I detailed the truck today and no rain. Took it to dinner, drove around town, felt great.

But I can tell you why that happens....
YOU DIDN"T CHECK THE WEATHER BEFORE YOU DETAILED!

Well, that's not quite true. I live in between two larger cities. The weather I get is their's. I've had three different weather conditions, while driving home. First Sun (clear and cloudless), then Snow then rain. All within 20 miles. I think I live, where two airstreams collide together.

TSC,

Sounds like the weather where I live... oh, wait... I'm in SW Ontario too. Gotta love the "lake effect".
