Update on Old Post!
Just wanted to update a post that I had written some time ago.

The truck went to the dealer and they decided (I'm not sure how) that the hood was painted twice from the factory. The hood and front fender will be repainted under warranty. They are actually going to put a whole new hood on it, not sand and repaint. Will be curious to see how well the paint matches (Deep Wedgwood Blue), but I was impressed when my father told me that they did not give him any grief about it.
If the paint matches well, chalk one up for the "Good" Ford Dealers!
