removing the front license plate bracket

Anyone know how to remove the front license plate bracket, if so can you reattach it later if needed?

Just remove the lower valance and unscrew it. you can add it back any time you want.

If you don't have a chrome front bumper then it you won't be able to reattach it later. I pulled mine off by pulling the front valence off. I believe there were a total of 8 screws on it. On mine, they used some type of plastic brads that were very difficult to get off. It just depends on whether you have a painted bumper or a chrome bumper on how they actually attach. I can't add mine back on. I'm just glad I live in a state that doesn't require a front tag.

You could do what my wife did with her Expy... Smack the rearend of a Silverado at a red light... That took her license plate bracket off real quick...

I took mine off this weekend. It was fairly easy but not as easy as I had hoped. I took off the valance and was looking for the screws since I have a chrome bumper. I only found the brads. I had to cut them off with my dremel. I think I could remount it if I needed to with some homemade modifications. Georgia doesn't require front plates, it looks much better now.
Thanks for the help
Matt

I took mine off by removing 4 push pins that went through the vanlance and attached to the back off the bumper. It took less than 30 seconds with a panel popper.
