Simple green will get rid of everything in your engine. Get the automotive formula at autozone

I just cleaned the engine on my ford and got a 2 part package from autozone for 6.99. CD2 is the name : has a can of cleaner and a can of detailer. Read instructions on the cans easy to do and Made the engine look brand new. It says to cover the electric components with plastic but I didnt and havent had any pr
oblems.

Spray down the engine with degreaser and then rinse off with a hose. Dry with compressed air and be sure to get around the coils otherwise you could end up with a misifire. Tire shine works good to shine the engine and is fairly cheap, just spray down and wipe with a towel. I do this all the time, it looks great.
