Step up to an Eaton and blow dry your truck..........hehe

Another vote for the Cali Water Blade. Used it on my black truck with no problems and use it on my current silver truck

Well, I used my Cali Water Blade again last week after this thread came to be...

Harley is right. Make sure your vehicle is SUPER ULTRA WET when you use it and it'll help you out.

As most everyone knows that has used or is using this blade, it's not a solve all. You're still going to need the high-pile cotton however; certainly not as many of them.

I was impressed. I'll start using it again I suppose.

I have a black truck and a Cali Blade and no scratches. Of course I only use it when wet and I store it safely so it does not get dirty or deformed.

I have California Water Blade for 18 months.
Proper usage while the freshly cleaned truck is wet.
Stored in a ziploc bag.

No Scratches yet.

Well, after all the replys I got, I bought the Cali Water Blade! I am not disappointed in it one bit. Like was previously posted, I dried the truck in 1/3 the time! Thanks for all the good advice.

Yep. I've been using mine ever since this thread came back up.

As long as the truck is VERY wet, it'll definately cut your drying time in half. It won't eliminate the need for the cotton terry however; like I said, it'll dramatically decrease the need.

Anyone else use a leaf blower?? The thing i hate the most out of anything else in the world is water dripping down from windows, cranks, door handles, etc etc. I take the leaf blower to those spots. Cant imagine this is bad but just curious.

A guy I know "use" to blow dry his car with his air hose, until one day the tip blew off and through his cheap *** Honda hood. Needless to say he now uses towels...

Hi everyone. I am new to this site and am getting a lot of useful info on the proper care of my new 2003 F-150 Supercab Sport truck. So hopefully you will forgive me for asking a dumb question. Does anyone use a leather chamois to dry? Will that damage my Black clearcoat finnish?

i use a leaf blower every once in a while. does an okay job but just takes a little longer. works awsome for the engine bay though.

leather chamois are aight, but an absorber will do the job alot quicker and easier and they hold more water. and when they are wet, just ring them out and they are instantly dry again
