I began to avoid chamois after owning my 1990 Geo Prizm. LOL! In all seriousness, I found that the Chamois didn't have enough 'nap' in the fiber to provide adequate protection if you were to pick up a sand grain or similar.

In short, I feel that a cotton terry towel with a large nap would be a better option, even though they don't dry as well in my opinion.

It's a matter of taking a chance on scratching (which I did with an old chamois on that car) or going with something that can bring the sand particle up into the nap and potentially keep it from happening.

Just my perspective.

It's a great drying tool if your in a hurry. But the main reason I bought it was the leaf mulching ability. To see it chop up a large pile of leaves into a tiny pile is amazing

Since starting to re-utilize the Cali Water Blade, I've noticed a few very slight scratches that are in the exact pattern that I would use to dry with the blade... hence, I'm discontinuing use effective last week.

It had to have been the Cali blade. No doubt.

Well, technically speaking he is not a “total” sale out because it will use American made gasoline…
