As ROCKPICK noted, it's basically an easy change. I however hate to use the term yanking when talking about doing work to my truck. At any rate, they are a pinch fit, and the front ones have a small clip at the back that must be disengaged with a very thin screwdriver (tape the area around and under this spot before attacking it with a screwdriver). Then you just lift up (very hard) on them, and they slide off. Installation is simply the reverse. Take the plunge, it's only money!!

Hey, aren't you the one that has numerous times talked of spending way too much on your truck. By my way of thinking, having bought an XLT puts me about $10K behind you, so even with the mods I've done to date I've got a long way to go to catch up! And you know I'm giving it a good shot!
