Meguiars #40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner

Anybody ever tried this stuff?

I've lined up a guy that will sell a bottle of #26 Hi-Tech Yellow and a bottle of #40 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner for $12 shipped. I know it's a good deal but, I don't want to jump on board if the #40 is a lack luster product.

I've tried the Marine verison of this product and I like it and, I suspect that it's the same stuff but, I thought I'd fish for opinions first...

Thanks for your help.

I like it! I like the 303 a little better, but the #40 is still good stuff. That's a good price for that combo. However, I prefer the #26 as a paste, rather than the liquid. Seems to have a little bit better durability. Still, if they are un-opened bottles, I'd grab it. One can never have "too much stuff"!

Yeah, I tend to agree with you Boss. Seems like a great deal for a couple of bottles of #26 Liquid and a bottle of #40. Heck, the #26 is $9 or $10 at Pep Boys per bottle.

I guess I'll buy. No harm in giving it a whirl.

Rock.... Please post a little feedback as to how this stuff works. I've been wondering for a while now how good it is and how well it would work.

Thumbs up

Great Stuff and it is the exact same as the Marine version I use it on my boat and truck cleans vinyl and rubber very well leaves a nice sheen on the dash, steering wheel and door panles but not a greasy film. Use a terry cloth towel spray the product right on the towel and clean away. For heavilt soiled or dirty stuff get yourself a failry stiff bristle upholestry brush and use it to scrub then wipe off with towel. I would go to Costco if you have that available to you and buy a bag of there white Cotton Terry Cloth towels located in the auto section that is all i use on my truck for everything form cleaning to removing wax etc....

Thanks for the input guys... If this guy will email me back, I'm going to buy it...

And, if it's the same stuff as the marine version (which it sounds like it is), I know I'll like it...

$25-$30 worth of Meguiars 'stuff' for $12... not to shabby.

ROCKPICK just a to ease your mind a bit about it being the same as the Marine . Like i said in my other post i use it on my baot and the reason I do is becsaue before i purchased the #40 I was buying the Marine version of it which is about 2.00 more per bottle so I decided to call Meguiars up and ask them about it and they told me yes it is the exact same product but some of the boating people like to see the word MARINE on the bottle otherwise they don't think it works on there boats. SO exact same ingrediaents just diffrent packaging.

That's really nice of them to charge $2 more for a blue bottle with "Marine" on it. Certainly worth the extra $2.
