Removing wax stains on plastic

peanut butter.
Someone said this just hides it, but I have not tried it to know for sure.
On the black textured parts I use the Rough Touch Scrubs in a bucket. This are rough paper towels that have the orange what ever mixture for cleaning your hand on the job site.
The ones I have are from the Supply house from ITW / Dymon, but I am sure that this are just relabeded from someone else.
The towels are blue with white lines in them, there are 72 in the bucket.
I use them on the window trim that is not smooth, if you get near anything smooth, it will have scratches on it when you are done. Bumper covers and the window trim that is not smooth it worked fine.

Having a couple of wax stains myself, the peanut butter/peanut oil trick just conceals. After several washings, it's still there.
I've yet to 'remove' my stain. I just keep concealing it.

Yep, peanut butter is only good for sandwich's, and if you use it on your truck for detailing then it's the only thing you can lick off your fingers...
I had some wax on my plastic trim once and used what I believe Intel suggested. I got some soap in a bucket and a stiff brush and just scrubed it off. You might want to use some Dawn dishwashing soap because its great at removing wax.

Also, remember that where ever the dawn manages to get on your paint while scrubbing, you'll need to rewax those areas because dawn is darn good at removing wax from painted surfaces...
