For you pro detailers out there......
Let's see if we can get this thread back onto the original topic.
I've heard of this stuff, but where do get it? Also, 5 gallons might be a little much for me (I don't wash that many cars that often). Can you get it in a single gallon size?

Pro's Cherry Suds in a 5 gallon jug. Comes out to a little over $8 a gallon. This stuff works well and smells great.

Why not just buy the 5 gallon jug right now? You'll save money and this soap doesn't go bad so you can keep it.

By the way, do you have a product recommendation for removing swirls and light scratchs? As noted above, I need a good product for that purpose as well.
BigDeal,
Well, I'm not a user of Pro's products. However, Intel is, and he can give you the scoop on all their stuff. Everything I've heard about their stuff has been positive.
As for the swirls and light scratches................ it depends on how bad they are, and what type they are. So called "swirls" can be any number of things, and to various degrees.
Anyhow, I would start with a good paint cleaner like Meguiar's Medallion Paint cleaner before you worry about the swirls. This should get the paint "squeaky" clean, so you can truly evaluate the swirls and scratches. Then, if the swirls/scratches look numerous, or severe, you might want to start with an aggressive product like Meguiar's DACP, followed by a less aggressive product like #9. If they are not severe, or too numerous, a product like Meguiar's #9 might do the trick on it's own! There are a lot of other good products for doing the same thing, but many here seem to like the Meguiar's products, so I'll stick with recommending them.

1) Washed it well
2) Clayed it
3) Applied three coats of Meguiars #9 by hand (helped but didn't get them all out).
4) Applied one coat of Meguiars #26 wax.
I think the Meguiars DACP is gonna be my next step, but I've heard I'll get far better results with it if I use an Orbital buffer (as opposed to hand buffing). Have always been a little gun shy of using buffers. In your opinioon, do I need to overcome this fear and get one to be successful?
BigDeal,
Using the DACP by hand is extremlely tough, but it can be done. However, the oribital will do it alot easier, and better.
No need to be shy of an orbital buffer. It's almost (anything's possible) foolproof! Now a rotary buffer is something all together different.
