I have to agree, Meguiar's products have kept my truck shiny over the years. Their products all seem to work and I have nothing but praise for them. My only complaint with Meguiar's is the darn bottles...they have a real tendency to break even if they only fall a few feet (like off a step stool). I have lost about 3or 4 bottles of Quick Detailer, Polish, and Quik Wax but having the bottles fall and break. I tried contacting Meguiar's but they never answered any of my e-mails about the subject. Although, they did send me a new bottle of Quik Detailer, the first time I had a bottle break.

I would have to agree with most Meguiar's is the way to go Like many others that is what occupies about 90% of all my detail products. I like the 3 step process which is the Deep Crystal System (Step 1 Cleaner Step 2 Polish Step 3 Carnuba Wax) very long process but the results are worth it. I also us the Mirror Glaze Line on my Boat and use the Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner Conditioner for all upholstry in my boat and it works great on the dash and steering wheel as well as any plastic on the truck like the Steps on my Nerf bars although it makes them a bit slippery so be careful. I use it on the valance and the plastic on top of the rear bumper. The only other product that are not Meguairs i use are Black Magic Tire white and there WET LOOK tire stuff and Eagle one wheel cleaner.

Ive used Meguiars Carnuba, Gold Class, and yellow #26 since my truck was new. It still shines like new with a quick spray of Quik Detailer. I like the #26 best shines really well.

Dam mjphadi just after i got done reading about you breaking a bottle of Meguiars I go outside to finish detailing my truck over the last three days and my bottle of Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner Conditioner falls about 6 inches and breaks losing all contents whcih i had just refilled. so i lost probably 14 of the 16ounces the bottle holds. The bottle shattered like it was china, this is sad tat they cannot use a softer plastic for there bottles. By the way to all who may be interested if you go to www.meguiars.com and check the website they will give you a car care printout for your area of the country telling you the best way to maintain your truck depending on what your specific needs are very cool deal .To all boat owners they will do the same for boats. The website also has tons of info with tips and myths abut waxing and clear coat paint lots of great info check it out.

I have almost a whole botle of Gold Class wax on the shelf. I used it once. It looked good for a weke, until it rained. Then I washed it and lost all of the gloss. It still beaded for a while, but it didn't look good.

We had a 40* warm spell last week and I did a quickie detail. Wash with the quarter spray, detail spray to clean it up, S100 SEPC and then S100 paste wax. It was the first time I used the SEPC, but 4th with the wax over Zaino. Every time I use S100, I am impressed. More swirls I will have to take care of when it gets warmer, but SEPC by hand went quick and helped with gloss and smoothed the paint (needs clay too).

I like it a lot.

KUDOS to Meguairs sent them an email telling them what happen with my bottle breaking and they replied in less than one day telling me sorry call our customer care number and we will be glad to replace your product. Also told me they were in the process of designing a new bottle that wasn't so fragile. Now that's what i call customer service.

Thumbs up

Alright Meguiars!! That's something you don't hear about very often. I lost a whole bottle of wax also from the same thing. It fell about two feet and hit the edge of a bucket. It split right in two sending wax everywhere. mostly in the bucket thanks to fate.
If anyone remembers my parking garage experience in Philly, my truck was covered in lime and lye, and was cleaned off using CLR. I had waxed it about a month before with Gold Class. After that, I drove it around in Toledo and Lansing in snow and salt, with only one rinse in sub zero weather at a car wash. I finally got home, and properly washed the truck. Not a single sign of damage from anything. Not even so much as a smudge where the lime and lye was on the paint. That's good enough protection for me??,,,,98
