190 is a lot, but the price seems good. Would the be an upgrade from you 2004?

Well yeah in that its a 4x4 but other than that not really. has more mileage and older and single cab. Single cabs lifted like that look good though and would be more what I want in a truck. Might be getting something like that over the next couple months after I save up the rest of the money.

Any way I think you'll have even less of a selection with the 92-96 years. I would say there are only about half of those compared to the 97-03s in the configuration you want.

Good luck with your purchase.

I like the older trucks better. Better built, more rugged. Utilitarian.

Thanks

Something about those older body styles with a lift is just badass so hope you get a nice one. My Dad just purchased a 92 f350 single cab short bed with the diesel. Its black and has a lift and its one badass looking truck.

Pulling trailers, farm work, hauling heavy stuff. He drove to North Carolina a couple weeks ago. Says it gets pretty good mpg for it size but it rides like a tank. I'll have to get a pic of it this weekend and post it on the forums

Sounds like a great rig. I'd love to see pictures.

Right now I'm leaning toward 1992-1996 regular cab long bed 4x4 manual tranny 4.9L I6 or 5.0 V8. I know I mentioned earlier that I was stuck on a V8, however more research has shown that the 4.9 is tough and a great engine.

Yeah I wouldn't be afraid of the I-6 they have quite a good reputation.
