Under the rail or over the rail?

I found a Line-x dealer today in the Toronto area and he told me I could get the Line-x sprayed in over the rail or under the rail.

Does one or the other have any advantages?

Thanks
Habibi

If you have a 97 or newer F150, your truck already has a bedrail covering (that plastic stuff), so you'll want the under-rail coating. It should be a little cheaper than the over-rail one.

Over or Under?

Hello, the key in deciding whether you want to go over or under the rail with any bedliner whether it's a drop in or spray in is to think of the future? Do you want a bed cover (fiberglass, camper shell, or roll top?) because having an over the rail liner can play a factor in the fit of the lid, cover, or shell. The other thing is bed caps/rails, do you want or have any on the truck, hope that helps.
