Question Bed Rug without Cover????

I have been interested in getting a bedrug for my truck but I do not have a shell or tonnue cover. I was wondering about protection against moisture and fading, and also how easy it would be for someone to steal.
What are your thoughts?

i guess someone could steal it, but for your other questions it holds up great. dries out fast, doesn't stain. i love it! pics at the link in my profile...

Mine was uncovered in NC for over a year before I got an ARE topper. It suffered through pollen, swealtering heat, freezing ice and snow, and all of the stuff that I hualled in it. The bedrug still looks new! It cleans up and dries out exactly as promissed in the ads.
The tie downs reinstalled on the outside prevent theft, but I never really worried about it.

mine would be pretty near impossible without tearing it. it has small slits where the tie downs were re-screwed in on top of it, and the bed extender is punched through it as well keeping it secure (of course, the bed extender itself has been the object of theft for a lot of folks).

Wes

pesos,

That bed rug looks sweet. I have seen two different bed rugs for sale one 1 is advertised in sport truck mag. for $169 from one comp and one is $349 from another company. Which one is the one that you have? Where did you buy it from? if you don't mind me asking. Thanks

Thanks for the info that is what I thought. Yours look like the nice one. I just went to a local truck super store down the street to me and the owner said that she could have one for me tomorrow for me for $325.00 includeing tax. So it looks like I will have one tommorrow. whooo hoooo

Good Info

This is a good thread. I've been looking at a bed rug for my scab, but wasn't sure how it would hold up when I didn't have the top on. I have a plastic liner now (hate it) and needed something for the dog to stand on without sliding everywhere. I had already recieved their sample and thought it looked ok. After reading through this, I guess I'll go ahead and order one.

Thumbs up bedrug

Be sure to check with http://www.tntserve.com/truck_bed_li...ce_edwards.htm

I ordered mine including shipping to the west coast for $319.00 total. Great customer service from them also.
