Hi all,
New to the site but have gleaned a lot of good info from here.
I recently got a bedliner put in my truck (3 months or so ago) and as the truck is still in the final stages of a restoration, haven't done much with it. The line-x install went fine although there are some untextured spots in the corners I am not too sure about.
Went with Line-X after reading a bunch of reviews. The local installer is very well reviewed.
I took the kayak out for the first time yesterday and today I noticed a rub mark on the wheel hump. It has to be from the kayak since I haven't had anything else in there. Let me say that I was very careful putting the kayak in. The bed floor doesn't have a mark on it and that should have gotten the most contact.
Is this normal?
It happens. Not scuff proof, maybe some metal edging on kayak caught it going in or out?
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I checked over the kayak after posting and there is a cross member bolt head in about the right place. Like you said, it happens and won't be the last (truck is going to be enjoyed and used like one). 😀
So I called them the other day and they asked that I send them a photo. I sent the same ones as above. They told me it was a scratch and wasn't covered under warranty. Should I pursue it further?
