Has anyone seen this before and know what caused it? Brand new, installed woke up the second morning of having it installed and when the morning dew evaporated, the tail gate panel was grey with this type of residue/film.

It doesn’t wipe off either. You wipe it, looks black, and then drys grey again.

I searched the internet high and low and haven’t seen any similar issues. Waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, although with no receipt I’m not holding my breath.

Is there a overlay on the other two panels ... like with an adhesive ... that maybe blew off the third panel, looks like it has a grain to it?
