Thanks to you Raoul, I found out my old camper shell was made to fit a regular bed. It was rubbing the 3rd brake light occasionally.




Week before last, I spied this one on craigslist and drove 4 1/2 hours each way to Chesapeake, VA to buy it. This one is an ARE brand and fits much better.

 

And it only took me sixteen years and a little over six thousand posts to finally help somebody.

 

Patience and perseverance - now you've achieved sainthood!

You the Man!

I was lucky enough to buy the "new" one with matching paint for $300 Tuesday of last week and I put an ad on craigslist and sold my "old" one for $275 on Saturday. The new one has a higher top giving me more room if I ever use it for camping. (future plans)

My wife thought I was daft to drive 9 hours to get another camper to replace one I had been using for 6 years! Women just don't understand! Ha!

 

Raoul is still around? Wow.
