Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with Roll-N-Loc covers and info regarding repairing/restoring them?

I have an 05 Crew that I had a Roll-n-Loc installed when I purchased it. It has constantly needed adjustments to alinge with tailgate, and is so far out of alingment now that I cannot lock it. Will not catch at the intermediate hold points etc...Sides along bedrail are always bending down causing the tailgate lock to be too low to shut tailgate properly.

I was thinking of tearing it down and going thru it to clean it, grease it, basically an overhaul on it.

My question is before I jump right in and start tearing it down, is there any little tricks or significant issues I should know before I start?

Let me know what you do to it. Mine latches ok, but it doesnt roll up real well and is tough to pull.

Not too much on youtube about how to do it.
