I wonder why there are so many choices of tail gate caps to choose from for Chevy & Dodge trucks, but little or none for a 2007 or 2008 FX2. I find one or 2 stainless steel. I would like a good quality plastic one in black. If I am, wrong, someone please show me some good options. My truck lost it's tail gate cap. thanks

 

I believe you have your answer in the 2004-2008 Forum. But I will reiterate. Saleen and Rousch both offer options, as I believe does Lund, and a few other aftermarket manufacturers. However as I mentioned in a thread in that same forum, there is without a doubt a great market opportunity for an entrepreneur with plastics fabrication skills for styling products for the bed and tailgates of these trucks...

 

I've often wondered the same thing. Try to find Ford bed rail caps! Might be a patent situation.
