I just update a thread in supercrew that I had posted in a while back, but figured I'd post here also since its the correct place. Here is my ARE MX. I got it in January this year through Louisville Toppers. It came in in less time then quoted and install was very quick. Great place to do business with. Since having this topper I have been extremely happy with it. I'm still able to use the car wash without having clearance issues since I don't yet have a leveling kit installed. The extra headroom is awesome and I'm soooo happy I went with the MX. I like truck camping and its nice that when I haul things that are a little taller than cab high, I can with not much problem. No leaks and best if all all my gear stays dry! On to the pics.

 

Looks good! Nice having the carpet, especially up the bed sides. Never was a "cap guy" until I found an extremely cheap cap on Craigs, and have since traded up to one that actually matches my truck. The utility of having the cap is great, as I don't need to haul tall items very often and my dog is safe and secure in the bed. Have not tried camping with mine yet, but do want to try it out.

 

Yea man for some reason I've always liked caps. Maybe it's because as a kid I always thought they looked like a good fort, who knows. I love having the cap and keeping my stuff clean and dry while secure. I did two nights in it in March with a military cot fully assembled and the tailgate and hatch shut. Fit perfectly. The extra headroom was awesome. I had room for a buddy to hang out and drink some beer while sitting on a camp stool too. Definately worth the money, and the carpet seems like it helps with insulation too.
